Classic Room

Our Classic Double/Twin Rooms are 'La Vendemia', 'Martzavi', 'La Balanza' and 'La Scuderia' are located at the Larione building. This is one of the four stone-built buildings dating back to the 18th Century. It is named after the estate's Italian caretaker who used to live here with his family. The names of the rooms have been inspired by agricultural work, the estate's produce and the original use of spaces.

All rooms have different interior design and a separate entrance with a private veranda looking onto the Country Club's lush green gardens.

'La Vendemia' Classic Room: Every year, one of the most festive times on the estate was that of the vine harvest, the 'Vendemia'. Wine was the first produce to come into the home. Elegantly decorated with original antique furniture, Italian floor tiles and a bathroom made from old Corfiot bricks, creating an ambiance of warmth and coziness.

'Martzavi' Classic Room:  'Martzavi' was the red wine variety produced on the estate. Carefully decorated with original antique furniture, Italian floor tiles and a bathroom made from old Corfiot bricks, offering a sense of home.

'La Balanza' Classic Room: This was the place where they weighed the hay after harvest. The scales, the so-called 'La Balanza' are still there. The wooden ceiling, the Corfiot brick-wall and the luxurious antique furnishings give a rustic charm to this room.

'La Scuderia' Classic Room: This is where grandfather Nicolas kept his mare, Popi. Horses have always been an integral part of the family's life. Lovingly decorated with luxurious antique furniture, wooden ceilings and Italian floor tiles that make this room feel sturdy yet laid-back and comfortable.
